COME TOGETHER AGAIN WHEN YOU’RE READY.

As you make decisions on how to worship, here are three ways we are encouraging you to be part of the CITYPOINT Church family:

  1. Stay home and worship with your CITYPOINT Online family.

  2. Invite a small group of friends to watch with you in your home.

  3. Attend an in-person worship service at CITYPOINT Church.

REOPENING FAQS

WILL THERE BE RESERVATIONS FOR WEEKEND SERVICES?

At this time, we will encourage attenders to let us know you are coming so we can safely accommodate all in attendance.

WILL CITYPOINT ONLINE STILL BE AVAILABLE?

Yes! For the past several weeks, we’ve been grateful for the ability to worship together at CITYPOINT Online, and we encourage you to continue to attend online if you or a family member doesn’t feel well, or if you’re just not ready to attend church at a physical location. You’re part of the CITYPOINT Church family no matter where you choose to attend!

CITYPOINT Online is also a great option if you want to invite a friend to join you! Sunday’s at 8:00am and 10:00am, you can head to www.citypoint.cc to experience worship, the message, and the community of your church family through live chat and prayer. You can also find an online community on our Facebook Page.

WHAT ABOUT KIDSPOINT?

At this time, Kidspoint will not be available in-person. We hope to meet again soon! Until then, we know that a lot of young families will choose to worship with us online. That’s a great option to consider. It’s our hope that on July 12, we will open our Kidspoint rooms.

ARE YOU REQUIRING OR RECOMMENDING THAT PEOPLE WEAR MASKS?

We welcome anyone who chooses to wear masks or other personal protection equipment, and will make masks available as well.

WILL TEMPERATURE CHECKS BE REQUIRED?

At this time, we are not requiring temperature checks.

WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO ARE CONSIDERED MORE VULNERABLE OR CARING FOR THOSE WHO ARE?

If you’re vulnerable for any reason we are encouraging you to remain home. If you have any symptoms of sickness or have been around anyone who has shown symptoms, we ask you to remain home.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO STAY HEALTHY

What We’re Doing:

  • Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building.

  • All CITYPOINT services will be as touchless as possible and all high-volume areas will be sanitized between services.

  • Kidspoint will not be available at this time, however we will have space available for nursing mothers.

  • No water fountains will be open or usable.

  • No food or beverages (coffee & donuts) will be offered.

  • We recommend online giving in this time (touch free option available at in-person services).

  • To reduce touchpoints, connect cards, pens and offering envelopes will not be available in seating areas. Connect with us digitally here.

How You Can Help:

  • If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us at www.citypoint.cc.

  • Please wash your hands, use hand sanitizer often and mitigate a sneeze or cough.

  • Maintain a distance of six or more feet between yourself and other guests.

  • Please respect the personal health decisions of others.

MESSAGE FROM CITYPOINT STAFF

During worship gatherings, the theater will be limited to a maximum of 108 people in the attendance. We also plan to have dedicated entry and exit points, defined traffic patterns, ongoing sanitization provided, and an adjusted seating plan to accommodate additional spacing.

We welcome anyone who chooses to wear masks or other personal protection equipment. CITYPOINT CHURCH is committed to the health of our community and will scale our gatherings in compliance with the Iowa Department of Health and CDC guidance to support efforts in bringing this pandemic to an end in a holistically healthy way.

We’re believing the best days are ahead for the Church!
