What is KIDSPOINT?
KIDSPOINT is designed specifically with your child in mind! Every Sunday we offer safe and age-appropriate environments for kids (babies through 5th grade) where the Bible is taught in creative, engaging ways and where kids meet Jesus on their level!
We would love to see you and your family visit KIDSPOINT this Sunday.
We invite you to explore what your kids will learn when they come to KIDSPOINT. We call them our BIG 3. When you click on your child’s circle above, you will discover what three things we pray your child will develop over their time in nursery, preschool and elementary.
First Time Here?
Our Welcome Team will show you to the check-in stations in the commons area. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birth dates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child. Want to make the check-in process completely stress free? Fill out our First Time Check-in Form so that we can gather all your information before you arrive. When you get to the check-in stations, let them know that this is your first time here at CITYPOINT and your child(ren) will get a special KIDSPOINT water bottle
How Does Check-In Work?
After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will be notified via text message, so we ask that you keep your phone on vibrate during the service. Please bring your matching identification tag with you. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
Health & Safety
Your child's safety is a big deal to us. That's why we require every KIDSPOINT volunteer to complete a background check and interview process. We also ask that you help keep our environments safe by following our well-child policy, and keeping children home who have not been healthy for the past 24 hours.
After KIDSPOINT
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” Each week you’ll be given a Conversation Cue Card that will clue you into what they learned and give you ways to play and talk with your child about Jesus.
